Greyville Poly 3 June 2026 — Daily Punter Results
Members, Greyville Poly gave us a very mixed card.
The worksheet had some very good race reads, especially through the middle part of the meeting, but the main betting calls did not land strongly enough. The biggest disappointment was Race 8, where our Best Bet and Safe Place Bet, Amafort, did not deliver.
The positive side is that the sheet still found a lot of the right horses in the cover lines. The Value Bet ran 2nd, we had a joint winner with Skipper O’Malley in Race 3, Ultra Quick won as our main selection in Race 5, and several races had the winner and placed runners sitting inside our main cover.
This was not a clean betting-call day, but it was still a useful worksheet result from a race-reading point of view.
Main Highlights
Race 3 Main Selection WON / Dead Heat
Race 3 — Skipper O’Malley
Skipper O’Malley was our main selection in Race 3 and finished in a dead heat for 1st with Last Ovation.
Last Ovation was also included as one of our main dangers, so this was a very strong race read from the worksheet.
Race 5 Top Selection WON
Race 5 — Ultra Quick
Ultra Quick was our main selection in Race 5 and got the job done.
This was one of the better clean calls on the card, and the worksheet also had Mountainsofthemoon and National Dream in the race view, who ran 2nd and 3rd.
Value Bet Ran 2nd
Race 6 — Connery
Connery was our Value Bet and ran 2nd at a good price.
The winner, Donquerari, was also included in our danger line, and Kalahari Roller ran 3rd, giving us a very good race read even though our Strong Bet, United Nation, did not win.
Good Cover Results
The worksheet found a number of winners inside the danger and cover lines:
Race 1 — Smart Choice
Winner was included as a danger.
Race 2 — Dancing In Demark
Winner was included as a danger.
Race 6 — Donquerari
Winner was included as a danger.
Race 7 — Little Cracker
The upset speed horse was mentioned as a danger/outside runner.
Race 8 — Wedding Vow
Winner was included as the main danger behind Amafort.
Main Calls Result
Best Bet
Race 8 — Amafort — Unplaced
Did not deliver as the main late anchor.
Next Best
Race 7 — Saudi Sweep — Unplaced

Strong Bet
Race 6 — United Nation — Unplaced
Did not win. The official report noted United Nation hung in from the 250m.
Value Bet
Race 6 — Connery — 2nd
Good value result and one of the positives on the card.
Outsider Bet
Race 5 — Irish Anthem — Unplaced
Did not deliver.
Safe Place Bet
Race 8 — Amafort — Unplaced
Did not deliver.
Race-by-Race Summary
Race 1
Winner: Smart Choice
Our main selection was Roy’s Blossom, but Smart Choice was included in the danger line.
Cartel Queen also ran 2nd and was strongly respected by the worksheet.
Result: Winner found in the cover line.
Race 2
Winner: Dancing In Demark
Our main selection was Tipperary, who ran 2nd.
Dancing In Demark was included in the danger line, and Happy Hooves also ran 3rd.
Result: Good race read, with the winner, runner-up and third all inside the worksheet view.
Race 3
Winners: Last Ovation / Skipper O’Malley
Skipper O’Malley was our main selection and finished in a dead heat for 1st.
Last Ovation was included as a main danger and also shared the win.
Result: Very strong race read.
Race 4
Winner: Thoonsil
This was the weakest race from the main public view.
Our main selection was Syx Hotfix, who did not deliver. The race was correctly marked as dangerous and needed wide cover, but Thoonsil was not pushed strongly enough in the main view.
World Of Our Own and The Wolf were included and ran 3rd and 4th.
Result: Winner missed from the main call, but some of the placed horses were covered.
Race 5
Winner: Ultra Quick
Ultra Quick was our main selection and won.
Mountainsofthemoon ran 2nd, and National Dream ran 3rd, with both horses respected in the worksheet.
Result: Strong race read and one of the best results on the card.
Race 6
Winner: Donquerari
Our Strong Bet was United Nation, who did not deliver.
However, Donquerari was included as a danger, Connery was our Value Bet and ran 2nd, and Kalahari Roller ran 3rd.
Result: Strong cover and value result, even though the Strong Bet was beaten.
Race 7
Winner: Little Cracker
Our Next Best was Saudi Sweep, who did not deliver.
Little Cracker was mentioned as the upset speed horse and was part of the wider thinking, but Saudi Sweep was the main call and failed.
Lunch Money ran 2nd and was included in the danger line.
Result: Winner noted as an upset danger, but the main betting call was wrong.
Race 8
Winner: Wedding Vow
Our Best Bet and Safe Place Bet was Amafort, who did not deliver.
Wedding Vow was the chief danger and won the race. Acacia’s Blossom was also included and ran 5th.
Result: Winner found in the danger line, but the main banker failed.
Exotic Result
The exotic structures did not convert cleanly because the main anchors did not land.
The biggest damage came from:
Race 8 — Amafort beaten
This was our main banker and Safe Place Bet.
Race 7 — Saudi Sweep beaten
This was our Next Best and late control runner.
Race 6 — United Nation beaten
This was our Strong Bet.
Even though the worksheet found many winners in the cover lines, the key betting calls did not stand up strongly enough to carry the exotic structures.
Final Summary
Overall, the Greyville Poly worksheet produced:
Race 3 Main Selection — WON / Dead Heat
Race 5 Top Selection — WON
Value Bet — 2nd
Race 1 winner found in cover
Race 2 winner found in cover
Race 6 winner and first three home strongly covered
Race 8 winner found as the main danger
The negatives were:
Best Bet — Beaten
Safe Place Bet — Beaten
Next Best — Beaten
Strong Bet — Beaten
Outsider Bet — Beaten
Race 4 was the weakest race from the main public view
This was a useful but frustrating card.
The worksheet was better than the main betting calls suggest, because it found plenty of the right horses in the cover lines. But from a betting result point of view, the anchors did not do their job.
The lesson is simple: when the main banker and late control runners fail, it becomes very difficult to convert the card, even when the worksheet reads many of the races well.
We take the positives, review the weak calls, and keep improving the system.
You can never go broke making a profit.
