Members, Turffontein gave us a mixed but useful card.
The worksheet had some very good race reads, especially in the early part of the meeting, but the main Best Bet did not win and that hurt the exotic structures.
The positive side is that the sheet found a lot of winners inside the main selection and danger lines. We had Winding Power winning as our Next Best, Brigitte Anne winning as our main selection, and several other winners included in the cover.
The biggest negative was Race 4, where Flying World was our Best Bet and Safe Place Bet, but was beaten by Late Bloomer.

Star Magnolia and Without Remorse were also respected in the race and filled the places behind her, making this one of the best worksheet races on the day.

Our main selection was Periodic Table, who ran 2nd, while Nightshine was included in the danger line and won.
This was a good cover result, with the winner and runner-up both inside the main view.

Race 4 — Late Bloomer
Flying World was our Best Bet and Safe Place Bet, but Late Bloomer won the race.
Late Bloomer was included as one of the dangers, so the worksheet did see the winner, but the main betting call was wrong.

The main lesson from the day is that the cover lines were strong, but the confidence calls were not sharp enough. When the Best Bet and late anchor are beaten, the exotics become difficult to convert, even when the worksheet finds several winners in the danger lines.
We take the positives, review the weak calls, and keep improving the system race by race.
