Members, Fairview Poly gave us a useful results card from a worksheet point of view.

This was not a clean betting-call card, but the system still showed some good strength in the main outputs. The strongest positives came from Race 1 Rush Green, Race 2 Rock Me Mama, Race 3 Osmium, Race 7 Heliotrope, Race 8 Darling Girl, and Race 9 Kleinzee, all of whom were visible in the worksheet’s main signals.

The biggest lesson from this card is that the system had several winners in the right areas, but some of the final race decisions needed more respect for the market, speed, and multi-column support.

Main Highlights

Race 1 Strong System Result

Race 1 — Rush Green

Rush Green was strong in the worksheet and won the opener as the short-priced favourite.

This was a good start to the card and one of the cleanest system results of the day.

Race 2 Winner Found

Race 2 — Rock Me Mama

Rock Me Mama won Race 2 and was clearly visible across the worksheet output.

She appeared strongly in the main system columns and delivered as the favourite.

Race 3 Winner Found

Race 3 — Osmium

Osmium won Race 3 and was present in the main worksheet view.

The race also had Satellite World and Bugle showing strongly in the system, and they ran into the result behind the winner.

Race 7 Strong System Race

Race 7 — Heliotrope

Heliotrope was a major worksheet horse and won the Wedgewood Handicap.

This was one of the best system reads on the card because the winner had strong support from the worksheet.

Race 8 Speed Runner WON

Race 8 — Darling Girl

Darling Girl was the top Speed Rating horse and won Race 8.

This was a very important result because it again shows that the speed column must be respected, especially when the speed horse also has enough overall support.

Race 9 Strong Final-Leg Result

Race 9 — Kleinzee

Kleinzee came through and won the final race.

She was clearly visible across the system outputs and gave the worksheet a strong finish to the card.

Race-by-Race Summary

Race 1

Winner: Rush Green

Rush Green was the standout runner in the opener and won.

Silva Streaker ran 2nd and Red Birch ran 3rd, with both also prominent in the worksheet view.

Result: Strong worksheet result.

Race 2

Winner: Rock Me Mama

Rock Me Mama won Race 2, with Kim Kay 2nd and Dee Dee’s Delight 3rd.

The worksheet had Rock Me Mama strongly involved in the main output, while Fonte, Kim Kay, Dee Dee’s Delight and One Summer were also part of the wider view.

Result: Winner found from the system view.

Race 3

Winner: Osmium

Osmium won the maiden over 1800m.

Playmaker was the top Speed Rating horse but did not deliver, while Osmium still appeared in the main support columns and got the job done.

Result: Winner found, but the top speed horse was beaten.

Race 4

Winner: Timeline

Timeline won the apprentice maiden sprint.

The worksheet had Timeline in the Speed Rating and support columns, but the race was heavily affected by scratchings and delays. Magnus The Good was the favourite but only ran 6th after reported abnormal respiratory noise.

Result: Winner found in the worksheet support, but this race needed careful handling because of scratchings.

Race 5

Winner: Bourne Supremacy

Bourne Supremacy won at a big price.

The worksheet did have Bourne Supremacy inside the main support area, but the stronger profile was around Honorine’s Gimmie, Slash ’N Burn, Masked Vigilante and Notorix.

Honorine’s Gimmie ran 2nd, Slash ’N Burn ran 3rd, and Masked Vigilante ran 4th.

Result: Winner was visible, but not promoted strongly enough.

Race 6

Winner: Black Egret

Black Egret won Race 6.

The worksheet had Black Egret in the support columns, but the stronger signals were around Imaginable, Tripping Thunder, Roman Agent and Lotus Silk.

Imaginable ran 3rd and Lotus Silk ran 4th.

Result: Winner found in support, but not one of the strongest promoted runners.

Race 7

Winner: Heliotrope

Heliotrope won the feature-style staying race over 2200m.

The worksheet had Heliotrope very strongly in the Speed Rating and main support outputs. Homing Pigeon also had strong worksheet support and ran 2nd.

Result: Very good system race.

Race 8

Winner: Darling Girl

Darling Girl won Race 8 and was the top Speed Rating runner.

Garden Sun ran 2nd, Sliver Of Sunshine ran 3rd, Silvano’s Song ran 4th and Blackberry Breeze ran 5th.

The worksheet had Darling Girl as a major speed horse, and several of the placed runners were also visible in the system.

Result: Strong speed-rating result.

Race 9

Winner: Kleinzee

Kleinzee won the final race.

She was prominent in the main system outputs and appeared strongly across the Natural, Final, Race Suitability and Final + Suitability columns.

Nautical Landing ran 2nd and Hospices De Beaune ran 3rd.

Result: Strong final-leg system result.

What Worked Well

Speed Rating Was Again Important

The speed column produced important results on this card.

Darling Girl was the clearest example, winning Race 8 from the top Speed Rating position.

Heliotrope was also very strong from the speed side in Race 7 and won.

This confirms again that strong speed horses cannot be ignored, especially when they also appear in other worksheet signals.

Multi-Column Horses Performed Well

The better results came from horses that appeared across more than one signal.

That applied to:

Rush Green
Rock Me Mama
Osmium
Heliotrope
Darling Girl
Kleinzee

When a horse appears across Speed, Natural, Final Selection, Race Suitability or Final + Suitability, it must stay alive in the final view.

The Final Race Was Read Well

Kleinzee was clearly visible in the worksheet and won Race 9.

That is a positive sign because final legs can often be messy, but the worksheet had the winner in the right area.

What Did Not Work

Race 5 Winner Was Not Promoted Strongly Enough

Bourne Supremacy won Race 5 and was visible in the worksheet, but not pushed strongly enough.

This is the type of result where the system had the horse somewhere, but the final decision layer did not give it enough respect.

Race 6 Needed Better Rebalancing

Black Egret was in the support area but not one of the main promoted horses.

With multiple scratchings in the race, the final view should have been rebalanced more carefully.

Race 4 Was A Scratching-Affected Race

Timeline won, but Race 4 had several scratchings and late incidents.

When a race changes that much, we need to reassess the structure properly and not rely too heavily on the original view.

Improvement Lessons

1. Protect strong speed horses

Race 7 and Race 8 again showed that strong speed horses can win, especially when they are also supported in other columns.

2. Multi-signal runners must stay alive

If a horse appears in multiple worksheet columns, it must not be cut too easily from final structures.

3. Rebalance after scratchings

Race 4 and Race 6 both had scratchings that changed the shape of the race.

When that happens, the final view must be checked again before deciding bankers and exotic structure.

4. Do not ignore visible outsiders

Bourne Supremacy was not a top confidence horse, but was visible enough in the worksheet to deserve more respect in a wide race.

5. Final-leg system strength must be trusted

Kleinzee was strong in the final race and won. When the worksheet gives that kind of support in the last leg, we must use it properly.

Final Summary

Overall, the Fairview Poly worksheet produced:

Race 1 — Rush Green found strongly
Race 2 — Rock Me Mama found strongly
Race 3 — Osmium found
Race 4 — Timeline visible in support
Race 5 — Bourne Supremacy visible but under-promoted
Race 6 — Black Egret visible but under-promoted
Race 7 — Heliotrope strong system winner
Race 8 — Darling Girl won from a strong speed signal
Race 9 — Kleinzee strong final-leg winner

The negatives were:

Race 5 and Race 6 winners needed stronger promotion
Scratchings required better rebalancing
Some top-profile runners were beaten

This was a good learning card for the system.

The worksheet found plenty of the right horses, but the final decision layer must do a better job of protecting multi-column runners, speed horses, and horses that become stronger after scratchings.

We take the positives, review the weak calls, and keep improving the worksheet.

You can never go broke making a profit.
