Members, Greyville gave us a useful and competitive results card.

The worksheet had some very good positives, especially with Sweet Green winning as our Best Bet, Zagreb winning as our Strong Bet, and Native Ruler winning while also being our Safe Place Bet.

The main issue on the day was that a few of the bigger cover races produced difficult winners, especially Race 4 with Chicarito, Race 6 with Vihaan’s Bomb, and Race 9 with Rainbow Reward. Those races made the exotics difficult to convert.

Still, from a worksheet point of view, the card had several good reads and a few strong betting calls landed.

Main Highlights

Best Bet WON

Race 2 — Sweet Green

Sweet Green was our Best Bet and strongest early control runner.

She got the job done as expected and gave the worksheet a strong early result.

Strong Bet WON

Race 3 — Zagreb

Zagreb was our Strong Bet and main Place Accumulator starting point.

He won well and gave us another clean main call.

Safe Place Bet WON

Race 7 — Native Ruler

Native Ruler was our Safe Place Bet and late control runner.

He did better than just place — he won the Grade 3 Winter Stakes.

This was one of the strongest results on the card.

Race 5 Winner Found

Race 5 — Mohave Prince

Our main selection was Uzwano, but Mohave Prince was included in the danger line and won.

This was an important result because Race 5 was one of the main cover races on the card.

Race 8 Value Race Winner Found

Race 8 — African Pride

Position Of Power was our Value Bet and ran 2nd, but African Pride was marked as the market danger and won.

That was a good race read, even though the value runner did not win.

The biggest pressure races were:

He was included in the cover, but this was still a difficult Pick 6 starting leg.

Race 6 — Vihaan’s Bomb winning
He was included as cover, but Zena Rose was the main call.

Miss World ran 2nd, but the final-leg anchor did not win.

The positives were strong:

Race 2 — Sweet Green won
Race 3 — Zagreb won
Race 7 — Native Ruler won
Race 8 — African Pride and Position Of Power ran 1st and 2nd

Final Summary

Overall, the Greyville worksheet produced:

Best Bet — WON
Strong Bet — WON
Safe Place Bet — WON
Value Bet — 2nd
Outsider Bet — 3rd
Next Best — 2nd
Race 1 winner found in cover
Race 4 winner found in cover
Race 5 winner found in cover
Race 6 winner found in cover
Race 8 winner and value runner ran 1st and 2nd
Race 9 winner found in cover

The negatives were:

Next Best did not win
Race 4 was a difficult Pick 6 starting leg
Race 6 main selection was beaten
Race 9 final anchor was beaten

This was a good worksheet-reading card.

The main betting calls performed well, with the Best Bet, Strong Bet, and Safe Place Bet all winning. The cover lines also worked well in several races.

The lesson from the day is that the system was finding the right horses, but the open races still needed proper protection. When the cover is used correctly, cards like this give members a much better chance of staying alive.

You can never go broke making a profit.
